Following the launch of the Government’s Feed-in Tariff the interest in Solar PV installations is sure to rise, the government initiative designed to incentivise theĀ micro-generation of electricity allows homeowners to earn revenue from unused electricity that is sold back to the grid.
In addition the Renewable Heat Incentive planned for launch next year (2011) will provide support for solar water heating systems and air source heat pumps.
With a minefield of grants, feed-in tariffs and solar incentives available from the Government Solar Guide has been launched to help homeowners make sense of the available options whilst enabling solar installers to register and promote their services.
